In the ocean daily builds up trash. To clean up at least a small part of it, Richard Hardiman company “RanMarine” from the Netherlands uses small robots in Rotterdam to take the trash out of the ocean and bring in a large landfill.
These little robots are actually drones that are called “Waste Sharks’, or translated sharks waste. They come in two models – “Slim” and “Fatboy” version, and the following video you can see how they look.
The authorities of the port of Rotterdam are sponsoring this project by the end of the year, a total of four sharks waste that floating around. Each can store up to 500 kg in his mouth open. The mouth is about 35 centimeters below the water surface.
